I’m a corporate accountability journalist, now increasingly bringing public institutions into my work too, including prisons. I was a writer then co-editor at Ethical Consumer magazine (2020-6), covering human rights in big brands’ supply chains. Since starting freelancing in late 2024 I’ve published in outlets including The Guardian, The Ferret and Mill Media, and was shortlisted for the 2026 Tenacious Journalist Awards and David McClure Public Interest Journalism Fellowship 2026/7. I also work on strategy for Violation Tracker, ranked one of the Global Investigative Journalism Network’s top tools of 2025.
